Andrew Klein finds a huge rub that is
taller than him.

Andrew, along with brother, Chad, participated in his first goose hunt with
great success.

Max Petersen (a.k.a. Elroy) with the first
catch of the day.

Max shows Derrick how to catch
the Big One.

Here's Max with Jason and Mark at Sportsman's Warehouse where he was outfitted with a new cross-bow.

Max and dad, Marty, are ready to find some deer.

Max got his first deer! Way to go, bud!

Andrew also took his first deer!
Congratulations!

Bryan LaRue got his first gobbler!
He's pictured here with dad, Chad & Derrick.

It was a memorable hunting trip.

2006 SYC Coordinators & Participants

This 2006 Spring Turkey Hunt
that Nicole participated in, along with
a number of other individuals,
was put on by
Special Youth Challenge (SYC).
Thanks for inviting us to participate in such an incredible event.
Friendships made there will last a lifetime.

Nicole was very excited to get her
Tom back this spring.

Max went on an elk hunt in 2006 that was donated by Thumper Ridge Ranch. We all had an awesome time!

Here's Max with his bull elk, along with his dad, Marty, Derrick, Jeremiah Doak of Closing the Distance, Larry, and Gaylon Thibodeaux, owner of the ranch.

Max's elk made it back just in time
for his graduation party!

Brittany Winter had a very successful elk hunt in February of 2008 in Southern Missouri at Thumper Ridge Ranch. Way to go!

She also checked out a huge elk rub while she was there.
